|
Mondays appearance of the McLaren MP4-21 kicked off a week of 2006 debuts, with another three teams due to publicly air their new cars for the first time in the coming days.
Ferrari's 2006 machine, so far known only by its 657 code name, will be officially unveiled at the teams Mugello circuit on Tuesday. The car has already undergone two private shakedown tests in the hands of Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa.
On Wednesday, Barcelonas Circuit de Catalunya will be the venue for the Honda RA106s first installation laps and on Friday the wraps will come off the new Cosworth-powered Williams FW28 at the teams Grove headquarters.
That will leave just two of the ten teams to unveil their new cars. MF1 Racing will launch their M16 on February 3, while Scuderia Toro Rosso are expected to reveal their 2006 machine in Bahrain on March 9, the Thursday prior to the season-opening Grand Prix.
