Spains Valencia circuit and the Mugello track in Italy are both playing host to Ferrari this week as the former champions carry out a dual testing schedule.
Clear skies in Valencia greeted Felipe Massa on Wednesday as he began a three-day session focussing on Bridgestone tyre development. The Brazilian, in a V10 F2005, covered a total of 95 laps, the quickest in 1m 13.165s. He added a further 29 on Thursday, cutting his best time to 1m 12.168s.
Meanwhile, in Tuscany, Marc Gene was in action at the wheel of an interim F2004 M fitted with Ferraris new V8 engine. On a wet track, the Spanish test driver completed a total of 39 laps on Wednesday, five of them on the short version of the circuit, with a best time of 1m 32.672s. Things had dried out for his final day on Thursday, when he ran a further 32 laps, with a best of 1m 26.789s.
