Ralf expected to test next week
|
Williams driver Ralf Schumacher is due to return to the Formula One cockpit for next weeks Monza test, just over two months on from his heavy accident at the United States Grand Prix in June.
Schumacher damaged his back in the Indianapolis crash and has since missed four races. Test driver Antonio Pizzonia is standing in for him again at this weekends Belgian Grand Prix, but said his team mate could well be back for the next round in Italy.
I think he is going to be testing after the race here in Monza for three days and we will see how he is going to be after the test, said Pizzonia. If he is ready he will be racing at Monza as far as I know.
Schumacher, who moves to Toyota for the 2005 season, scored 12 points from the opening eight races of the season and lies 11th in the drivers standings.
