Weather conditions today in Imola are perfect, with minimal wind, blue skies and warm ambient temperature. But the forecast for the race is rain.
The teams are all set up in the paddock ready to go, and the indications at this stage the weather is settled today and will remain so tomorrow. It is due to be sunny initially, with some cloud moving in towards the afternoon, with maximum temperatures around 22 degrees.
On Saturday, however, it will be cloudy with a 30 percent chance of local rain showers initially, and a 50 percent chance after 3pm. On Sunday the forecast is again unfavourable.
